You will reap the benefits of massage when it becomes a regular part of your life. My goal is for us to work together to take better care of your health, long-term.
Communication is key. I need to know what you're feeling, experiencing and what you're looking to gain in order to best help you. In turn, I will explain the treatment and what you can expect to gain from it.
Massage is a tool to help heal. Whether it's stress, illness or simply to pamper yourself, the benefits of massage can be life changing. I would be honored to take that journey with you.
My mission is straight-forward: RELIEF FOR ADULTS WITH NECK, SHOULDERS, AND BACK PAIN.
My journey into massage began at an early age. I remember when I was 7 hearing my mom pace back and forth downstairs, because her back hurt so badly that she could not sleep. I would stand on a step; she would lean on a chair, and I’d massage her back until she felt better and could fall asleep. I also remember massaging my grandparents’ backs and they would often say I had magic hands. It was great to be able to help my family feel better!
During my senior year at Nashua High School, I studied in their Licensed Nursing Program and earned my LNA. During college I worked as LNA in a care facility, and in the evenings, I would massage my residents’ legs in lotion. This was special for me, to see their relaxed faces and know how much I helped them.
I went to New Hampshire Community Technical College and majored in Nursing and Massage Therapy. I continued in Nursing until last year when I realized I needed to focus on bringing healing touch more into healthcare.
I worked in various settings including a spa, chiropractic office, gym, and a wholistic center for about 10 years. I then recently founded Hampstead Pain Relief in 2021 because of the freedom and power I have to make a strong connection between myself and the client so they can have the best experience possible.

if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Your comfort and relaxation are my focus. Communication is key to customize your massage.
Yes, I am the only licensed massage therapist in Suite 5.
The simple answer is no.
Prices are based on time. I focus my attention on customizing your massage and relieving pain goals. We keep the control.
-Licensed and experience since 2007
-Your massage is customized to you
-Experience help alleviating root cause of referred pain and increase range of motion with your own body's innate healing.
-By going to same massage therapist, I get to know your body, specifically where you hold your tension and what tools work best for you and your preferences.
-My goal is to get you feeling good daily.
I keep pricing simple. You choose time, pay and give me feedback. This is team effort to help customize your massage. I use the tools that works best for you, locate where it hurts and help ease tension. Easing muscles does not mean I have to press down hard, if fact working within the ease is gentle. I work with your body, so the massage is seen and felt as helpful.
Root causes are where the pain starts.
The cause for headaches and shoulder pain starts in the armpit. These muscles are overused all day long, from driving, cooking, at computer or on devices, and send a signal up around your shoulder, up your neck around your head.
Lower back starts from a few muscles including your glutes, piriformis (butt). The small of your back has Quadratus lumborum (QL) muscle, when standing on the foot, one side is shortened and the other stretches that way your body does lean. Over time these muscles send back pain message the brain.
Your vastus lateralis (VL) lays under your Iliotibial (IT) band. It sends pain down into your knee.
Your adductors run along inside on your upper leg. They send pain into your groin or down to your knee.
It's important to get to the root of the pain. That's when relief may last longer. These groups of muscles are accessible on a soft, floor, Thai mat. And you are fully clothed so your muscles may be moved thru full range of motion and draping is eliminated.
Either answer is the same as my approach.
This is not no pain or gain. When you hold your breath or pull away then you're protecting against me and I'm working very hard to get nowhere!
To get results I work with your body and feedback, listening and adjusting so the muscles trust and let go.
This is teamwork. The Thai mat allows the room to move arm or leg. And being fully clothed eliminates draping.
For most clients, it does not. In fact, some fall asleep as they feel pain relief.
However, for those that it does, I switch to other tools or just Thai massage using compressions while moving the body thru range of motion comfortably. I am a person not robot, feedback is key to success and massage is customized to you every time.
Prior to first session, you will already have filled out an intake form and waiver via email. I, Elizabeth will go over this with you, ask any follow up questions and check your range of motion to customize your massage.
When on the Thai mat massage is fully clothed. This eliminates time spent on draping, allows the ability to move your arm or leg for full range of motion, and to work on all sides to address root causes.
When on the table, I, Elizbeth, will leave the room for undress and redressing.
Feel free to ask questions to me.
Make yourself comfortable. If I, Elizabeth, want you to adjust your position, I will either move you or will ask you to move what is needed. Otherwise, change your position anytime to make yourself more comfortable.
I will check in, please speak up if you feel tension or feel good during your massage. I can tell when a muscle is tight, but not how it feels to you.
Please tell me if you are hot or cold, I will adjust temp in room.
Many people close their eyes and relax completely during a session; others prefer to talk. It's up to you. It is your massage, and whatever feels natural to you is the best way to relax.
Please feel free to ask questions at any time.
Drink water to flush your system or what I got moving around will settle back in your body.
Do home stretches shown to you to keep the good feeling going.
If needed, you may switch between ice (20 minutes) and heat (20 minutes) to help muscles relax farther and increase blood circulation. Always have barrier such as a towel between ice/heat and your skin.
Maintenance
One massage does not equal all the time it took to accumulate the tension and pain. We’ll discuss what home stretches will work best for you to continue your journey to living tension and pain free in between massages. My ultimate goal is for you to be pain free, tension free and keep the improved range of motion. That becomes and stays your norm.
